Day 01 Climb on an elephant
We’ll pick you up between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. at your hotel and drive you to the Elephant Village Camp, where you will learn more about elephants before you go for a 3km ride (2 riders per elephant). Afterward, you’ll start your basic mahout training on how to control an elephant by yourself while riding in the neck of the Elephant. For lunch, you’ll dine at the Elephant Camp riverview restaurant; it’s a buffet lunch served with coffee / tea and drinking water (vegetarian options available).
After lunch you can bathe your elephant in the Nam Khan river. It’s an exhilarating experience, followed by a boat trip to the Tad Sae Waterfall, where you can relax with a swim in the cool water.
Afterwards, you’ll have dinner at the Elephant Camp restaurant (set menu served with drinking water)
and spend a relaxing night at our Elephant Lodge, with stunning views of the Nam Khan river
